I missed Auntie Jiaoyi!

Auntie Jiaoyi (confinement lady) left yesterday. I woke up early because I knew she was leaving & I want to spend time with her.

After she left, I was very sad & Mummy had to keep carrying me to comfort me. At night, I missed her so much as I had been sleeping with her for the past 2 weeks. I kept crying for 3 hours that I almost made Mummy cry too because she was so stressed. I don't want Mummy to be stressful but I can't help myself from crying...

Baby Shower

Today is my big day! I was so excited this morning that I didn't sleep till after 2pm! Auntie Jiaoyi says I'm going to be the star of the day :) She dressed me up early this morning, & Mummy even bathe me personally.

So many people came to visit me, but I can't remember them anymore because there was so many Aunties & Uncles! I received a lot of red packets which Daddy & Mummy will put into my bank account for me. The best thing is I am free to use the money when I grow up :) I am a rich baby because I have a rich Heavenly Daddy. Heehee :)

The first time I saw Mummy dressed up after giving birth to me. Mummy can look so different with makeup... Thank God she still smells & sounds the same :)

*Bling Bling*

I received a lot of *bling bling* from loves ones.

My No. 1 fave is from Dad's colleagues. It's a 22k gold Minnie gold chain & pendant from the limited edition Disney series from Poh Heng. Mummy loves it a lot too. She thinks that it's a meaningful gift :)

My No. 2 fave is a souvenir gold coin from Wyeth Gold (of course it is not real gold!). It was given to me during my stay at Mount Alvernia Hospital.

Great Grandfather gave me a gold bangle. Mummy was amazed at the size of the bangle. It is barely 1/2 of her palm.

I have 3 sets of gold chain & pendant that looks exactly the same! They are from Great 5th Uncle, Great 2nd Uncle & Daddy's colleagues. They all have the picture of the Ox because I'm an Ox baby :)

Great 4th Auntie gave me an abacus pendant.

Some passed down jewelries from Daddy. (Compare them with the size of Mummy's thumbnail. So mini, so cute!)

Exercising Fun!

I'd been doing neck exercise for the past one week. Auntie Jiaoyi will place me on my front, while I'll try to turn my head from left to right. At first, Mummy was quite concerned because she was worried the exercise might be too straining for me. After all, I'm just an one month old baby... but Auntie Jiaoyi assured Mummy that this will keep my neck strong & flexible, & it is not straining for me at all. I enjoy doing the exercise, and Daddy & Mummy enjoy watching me have fun too!

Exhausted but contented after a round of exercise.

I almost knocked my head into the bed frame if Mummy didn't put a napkin there to "block". Mummy told Daddy they may have to buy a bigger bed next month looking at the way I sleep...

Sweet Pink!

Mummy loves me wearing pink. So today, I'm wearing another pink top that she bought for me. Mummy says the top looks so cute because it's so mini-looking. I think those clothes designers must have created these clothes especially for small babies like me! :)

Feeling Better :)

I'd gotten worse after I came home from Dr Vanessa's clinic on monday. There was lots of wind in my tummy, so I kept crying the whole afternoon. Daddy & Mummy was very worried and heartpain because they seldom see me cry so loud and long. I usually only cry for at most 1 min and my cries are soft too, so when they see me behaving like this, they felt so helpless. Popo fed me with the colic medicine Dr Vanessa subscribed, so I I felt better by yesterday morning, and I became the peaceful baby again.

The confinement auntie came to take care of me yesterday. She pushed me into her room by 730pm and closed her room door too so that she can rest early. So Daddy didn't really get to spend time with me after his work, and Mummy was sad because she missed me. So this morning, Mummy told auntie to push me inside the room only after 8pm so that they can spend more time with me. I am also very happy because I missed them alot too. This morning when Mummy carried me, I kept looking at her and my eyes never left her.

Overfeeding...

Daddy & Mummy brought me to Dr Vanessa again this morning. It's the 3rd time in 2 weeks we visited her. This time was because I'd been vomiting since friday night. Dr Vanessa says I'd been overfed... I should only be drinking about 55ml each time because of my petite size, but Daddy makes 75ml for me, so I just vomit the excess.

Mummy says the 1st time we visited Dr Vanessa, she says I'd been underfed (drinking only 10ml then), so I had not grown bigger. Daddy became worried, so now resulting in overfeeding... Haha... Mummy says very expensive lessons for them, because it costs $150 to learn that I'd been underfed and overfed.

Today is the 1st time Mummy brought me out. She was very excited and wanted to dress me up, but Daddy told her not to because it's only to the clinic... Her spirits were dampened... But she still took pictures of me before going out anyway.

I was excited at first when Mummy dressed me up. Daddy must be bringing me to some nice place!

Then, Mummy told me Daddy is bringing me to Doc Vanessa because I have not been "poo poo-ing" for the last 2 days... Disappointed...

Merlion

I'd been throwing up milk quite often, and it's getting more frequent now. And I have progressed from merlion to fountain... Daddy and mummy is getting very worried.
